Which camp is Vistas graphics developed in now? DirectX is the native stack for Vista. The default is now for both GDI and OpenGL to work by calling down into DirectX. Old XP drivers can still provide a separate GDI path that bypasses DirectX, but this is just for compatibility and is Not Recommended.
